At Vignettes Home, our desire to give high-quality service led us to design something we’re incredibly proud of: our Design Center. Our design center takes away the guesswork from furniture design and room planning, allowing you to enter our store or any other with a plan in mind.
Custom Upholstery
Giving existing furniture a fresh face is what makes Vignette Home unique. We have a knack for blending the old and the new, putting a fresh spin on traditional designs that tie a room together. Reinventing your existing furniture or creating something new is as easy as following four steps:
1. Select your Style
Whether you have sofas, recliners, or loveseats, we take them all. Every piece will become new after we’re done with it.
2. Select your Body Fabric
There are a wide array of fabrics available to our consumers. Typically, upholstery includes cotton, linen, wool, leather, acetate, hemp, silk, polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, rayon, and nylon.
Choosing a fabric requires three questions. First, do you like how it looks/feels? Second, how long will this fabric last? Finally, how easy is this to clean? There is no singular correct answer, but we’d be more than happy to walk you through your options so that you can determine what is best for you and your home.
3. Select your Pillow Fabric
Like the previous step, we must choose a fabric for the accent pillows. You must ask yourself all the same questions, but we have a little more flexibility as the wear and tear on pillows is notably less.
4. Choosing your Welt & Finish
Welts and finish are what make your furniture pop! We’d love to discuss what best suits your room and what role you imagine your furniture will play in your home.
Custom Furniture
For those with more specific needs, we also offer completely custom furniture. By utilizing our online tool, you can create the perfect piece of furniture for your household. No more going from furniture store to furniture store, for all the answers are here.
Once you’ve finished designing, you will be able to share your design with family members, designers, or friends. You can also print off your design and bring it in-store for those with questions.
Room Planner
No more rough drawings or haphazard guesses! Create accurate room layouts of any shape and size so that you can capture your vision. Determine where the furniture will go, how much room you’ll have for decorations, and whether your window treatments will have room to extend in our advanced room planner.
